Dr. María Adelaida Gómez (CIDEIM) supporting Yellow Fever Outbreak Response in Colombia

As Colombia faces a yellow fever outbreak in a remote region, the CIDEIM team, led by Dr. María Adelaida Gómez, has stepped forward to support local health authorities in combating the crisis. During their field visit, Dr. Gómez presented Yellow4FLAVI to key health actors, including the Hospital Federico Lleras Acosta in Ibagué and the Secretaria de Salud Departamental del Tolima. This collaboration has not only bolstered the outbreak response but also set the stage for potential new partnerships.
